Blu-ray will play on Playstation 3, not on regular DVD player.

The Patriot on Blu-ray has all the deleted scenes in the movie (Except the one with Tav with the flower), but nothing new BTS.

HP OotP has this Exclusive BTS special:

The Choreography of Magic

The Patriot is airing again this month....

Anyway, I don't know if buying this movie on Blu-Ray would be really worth it for me. I already have 2 dvds (both are extended edition), it has all the deleted scenes, expect the "heart of a villain", which I love by the way (Tavvie looks almost angelic with the flower) *smiles*

I want the special edition but can't find it anywhere here where I live, I think it's out of stock. Hm, maybe I'll try a search on amazon.com later.

He's probably got a few more now after that sunburn he acquired down in Myrtle Beach.

that sunburn was brutal, and I've been told, when he turned to the
group and asked for "Sun Cream", everyone was dazed and began to
scramble for some...Ms Char won the race...LOL
Kudos Char

That was such a wonderful memory! :D

I had offered it to him earlier and he said 'later'.

I was standing with Hilary a little away from the group and he walked towards us and asked for it. I happened to have a small tube in my jeans pocket so I produced it very quickly. (Still have that tube on my dresser, LOL) Can't bear to throw it away...

The man was surrounded by, like, eight mommies, and we ALL said to him, "darling, did you put your sunscreen on?" and he kind of pooh-poohed us. He was already burned from the previous afternoon--he said sheepishly that he was surprised, because 'it hadn't felt that hot, and there was a nice breeze blowing.'
Tchuh.

I've quite noticed how painfully red and bloodshot they are in this photo. Must have had the sun in them in several scenes. :bawl Poor Tavington.....and poor, Jason :bawl :bawl ~marilaine
(Wish I'd been there to administer that Sun Cream. )

Hi Def pics are awesome, but I'd absolutely hate to have any of me taken. Show every tiny blemish. Eeek.

As for the sun cream story, how cool for char! lol. But poor Jason. I no longer tan, I simply burn. No matter how much sun block I put on. I'm amazed how so many of you have met him so often. I'm almost too afraid by the idea. It exciting, and I'd love it. But I'd never have the means.

I love the hi def caps, char. I love to look at his eyes. And how the color seems to change depending on his outfit. Well, that could be from anything really. Lighting, editing...

Me too. ;)

I totally love his eyes in that movie. :adore And I just love that expression in the last picture, so full of rage and hatred.

I know this is rather nitpicky, but I just remembered something I noticed recently when rewatching The Patriot. (Can you believe that it was the first DVD i ever bought? How cool!) After Tavington is stabbed through the throat (-sniff-) and Gibson turns around, it looks like Tavington is standing still - dead standing up! What skill! Lol. He doesn't fall over... I know its a silly thing to notice, but.. it bugs me.

Yes, I know, I've noticed that before! I'm still convinced that Tavvie didn't die in the final battle. LOL! No, I'm j/k, but seeing his death is really heartbreaking. I hate that scene where Tavington is stabbed through the throat, poor colonel.
