Sometimes it's no fun livin' in Scandinavia

Wolfie, Good hasn't played in many areas in the U.S. either. Many of us are still waiting in hopes of seeing it. It's tough to be patient. :-(

We feel your pain, Wolfie. God knows if it'll ever be screened in Canada.

It's long gone from those cinemas, Hil. They never updated it.

They have stated it would be shown here in Chicago and they have apparently pulled it....so very upsetting.

Hugs,
Kate

Oh, so it was on a limited release here in the states?

I was wondering, because I never saw it listed here. And I was kind of bummed, because I read what it's supposed to be about and I don't usually like WWII movies and it sounded interesting.

I read a comment where someone claimed that the production company,
'Thinkfilm' is almost broke...I think that is the main reason we haven't seen Good, in a wider release...Hopefully the UK release will bring
more press....

Here's hoping we C a DVD....YIKES....

From Viggo-works, GOOD will be shown at the San Fran Jewish Film Festival on March 3 or 4.

It maybe worth it to check all other Jewish Film Festivals near you.....

If people can get to these Film Festivals or Premieres they will have a chance to see it and it is shame that the theaters have limited engagements
or have pulled it completely. :-(

Great info Char!!:hug

I've been keeping my eyeballs peeled for a release in my area, but nothin doin. Argh. The only place in New England I have heard that had a showing was in Boston, but I'm on the wrong end of Connecticut and Massachusetts. Which kind of bites, because we don't get indie films out this way either, and I love those. I have to wait to rent them when they come out on DVD, and most stores around here don't really carry them, either. I have a subscription to Netflix, and they usually get them, so here's hoping!

DH is big into history and was also very interested in seeing this, as was my Mom. We were going to content ourselves with Valkyrie, but even that was only out my way for a week or so, and we missed that altogether. Oh well, I probably would have spent all that time thinking about how much better it would have been if Jason were in it, anyway ;-)

It was shown at the Boston Jewish Film Festival sometime in Nov, I think.

You are right Char and I believe Jason was filming "Green Zone" when that occurred and couldn't make it but sent a video.

Hugs,
Kate
