Simon's guest today was none other than Jason Isaacs. Listen as he talks about Good, Harry Potter, The Green Zone and other projects.

I'm used to hearing him on with Mark Kermode on Fridays--this is a surprise!
Thanks Gillian!

I just watched the clip posted by Kim. Did Jason really mean it when he said he was hardly in it at all or was he just joking? It had sounded like a nice juicy part.

I don't know, GB. Seems a funny thing to say considering the amount of time he spent filming.

I've been wondering about that, too, grannybear...
says he spent a year filming, then says "I'm barely in it"...

I'm getting really upset with these itsy-bitsy parts. He's too talented an actor to be throw scraps. Doesn't anyone in the business have any kind of sense.
I'm getting mad and it's not nice to get grannybear mad.

I never thought Jason will have a large role in Green Zone since it seemed to me like an afterthought to add his role...They were going to have a regular soldier do it but they realized it was a bit much...and Jason was available....and he's a pal of Greengrass....
grannybear...be patient...his time will come..Let's hope for the best at the BAFTA..If he wins, more plum roles will come his way.
