Harry Potter the Musical!

Has anybody seen this yet? I just came across it a couple days ago and it is just the funniest thing I've seen in a really long time. Unfortunately there's no Lucius Malfoy in it, but it's hysterical enough that you won't really miss him. It's a full-length musical that they did earlier this year. Definitely pg13 rating at least, so not for the little ones to watch.

How can they NOT have musical Lucius in a HP musical. He's a principal character, isn't he? :scratch

I agree, Lucius would definitely be a hysterical addition to this, but I do think Draco steals the show in this. He definitely helps make up for the severe lack of Lucius... :D

How funny, I just watched it again last night with my family! They thought it was hilarious too! I think the tap dancing is pretty much the highlight of the entire musical. "I take my foot...my little foot..." :D

They just posted A Very Potter Sequel. http://www.youtube.com/user/StarKidPotter

Lucius is the main bad guy in this, and the humor is probably a bit (*cough* a lot) more adult. More sexual references, alcohol and drugs references and occasional swearing (not always censored out), so in case you are thinking about watching it with children... But I have been laughing all night, because of it.

BTW, It takes a long time to watch all of it!

...then I won't watch it now (the video keeps buffering and pausing every 5 seconds, it might be my internet connection) nuke.gif

I thought Lucius Malfoy prancing about in the musical was hysterical! I couldn't help but imagine JI doing the same thing...!! I loved the first and I love the sequel, I highly recommend them, but they are definitely pg13 rated at least.

I thought Prof. Umbridge was brilliant. Draco was fabulously played . . . great accent, too. And Firenze made me soil me knickers.

I don't know about Lucius doing pirouettes and jetes. Just takes the edginess out of the character.

Only problem was watching the last three segments (darn buffering) took almost as long to watch as all the others before it.
