Video of Jason at the Friends with Money premiere

Post by Gillian » Sat Apr 08, 2006 12:47 pm

It's fairly long clip of the stars arriving at the LA premiere, and while not the best quality, does have a nice segment of Jason signing autographs for the fans. You'll either have to be patient first, as there's a lot of screaming and kibitzing for the other actors, or simply fast-forward to about 359 seconds when he appears in the clip.

That was....that was just painful to watch.

We're not like that, are we?? Somebody please tell me we're different.
Those people just seemed so...relentless. Jason didn't seem to be enjoying himself much at all, just chewing his gum and going through the motions.
Somebody please tell me those are professionals.

Judging from our encounters at Sundance, and from what I've seen and heard from other accounts, its safe to assume that we have a much better and more welcomimg repoir (sp?) with him. I think our level of respect and appreciation has a lot to do with it. Could he have been annoyed that we weren't there? You know, considering poor Kay didn't read the email until afterward? Its nice to wish, huh.

Thank you--*sniff*.
I feel better.
I don't know about annoyed that none of 'the crew' were there to represent, yo (I'm channeling FunKay--) but I do hope that maybe he was just a tad disappointed? At least I hope we've demonstrated to him that we're fairly safe!, that he doesn't have much to fear from us--and if those photos he is kind enough to sign for us do land on eBay, we make sure that somebody else benefits.

That was....that was just painful to watch.

Catherine summed it up nicely once she realized that they were mostly professionals:

"Is there anyone here who actually gives a crap?"

Hope Jason doesn't think that the LA gals have abandoned him. :huh
