movie was screened in Fulham

Post by kjshd05 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 12:58 pm

this info is from IMDB.com, "Green Zone" thread...

a person saw the movie, on Oct 5... went on to talk about the characters/actors, so I asked about Jason's role..here is the reply:

"He's not in it much, and plays a one dimensional bad guy. I like him
so was disappointed"

I sort of expected that... But a little bit of Jason is better than nothing at all. Thanks for the information. :D

Didn't he say in the latest 5live interview that he had some scenes cut...?

I think maybe it's time he gets a new agent, to be honest. :-|

He spent almost a year off and on for a tiny role? I think they owe him. And now all these months on HP. These will turn out to be small bits also.
Maybe it's me but something is wrong with this picture. Me thinks he needs a new plan of action.

I hope he gets plenty of screen time in HP.

So very frustrating--I know I'd been hoping this would represent kind of a "break-out" role for him, after such muted appearances . . . he'd spoken with such relish about how exciting the filming for this one was, how he was enjoying working with the director . . . :razzlite

Sheesh, what a bummer! Especially after the amount of time JI spent on the project. Yep, I agree, time to find another agent, someone who knows how to market JI's talent!

1---Maybe he showed up Matt Damon too much so he was cut.?? ( Matt does nothing for me).

2---As for other parts didn't he say he had offers for several TV series but he didn't want to move to the States or commute back and forth?
He may have to change his mind in order to get work. You can't always get what you want.

Hmmm...won't be the first time he has outshown the lead! The Rolling Stones said it- "you can't always get what you want, but if you try, sometimes, you might find you get what you need". (I've always liked that song, LOL)

Our man has so much talent, wouldn't it be amazing to see him in a leading role? uh, maybe some day...
