"The BBC's National Short Story Award, which celebrates the best of the contemporary British short story, is one of the most prestigious for a single short story with the winning author receiving £15,000 . . . . Five of the UK's top actors and actresses will read the shortlisted stories."

This year, for the first time, each story will be available as a free podcast available for download for two weeks from Monday 30 November.

I DO hope it's a comedy.

Looking at the titles, only "Hitting Trees with Sticks" sounds like it could be funny. We shall soon see . . . er, hear. :cool:

listening to it now...it's almost over...NO English Accent.... :shock:

ok, the story is about an American living in London...
Explains the american accent...LOL
