I love snow, but I don't drive and always walk to work, (I just leave ten minutes earlier, wear my snowmobile-type boots and keep the hood up). I always forget that, to those who drive, snow is not so pretty.

But not for men in suits, grannybear. In the middle of summer here, when it can be 35 C , I wonder how some men can walk around wearing not only pants*, but long sleeved shirts and jackets!

* By "pants" I mean North American pants, "trousers", not underwear. I assume we all wear underwear, but I'm not about to take a poll.

LOL, fruitbat!!

And for what it's worth, they're forecasting rain here for Christmas. (With a few flakes mixed in.)

Just before Christmas I was in Lapland and the snow was fantastic. On the final day of our holiday we had another fall of snow but nothing stopped! After living in the UK where, when a few flakes fall the whole country comes to a stand still, it was amazing

All our snow has gone for the moment. Plenty on the hills!

Geez PatsLass - that is a lovely picture but I get the shivers just looking at it. It was in the low 60s today and I was bitching about how cold it was.....

Thanks for sharing, PatsLass!

Looked at the temperature when I got up this morning. 33 degrees!
This is Florida! There should be a law against it being below 70 degrees.
My fragile system won't take it this cold.
