This pilot for a Fox television series, based on the novel by Scott Turow, was tragically not selected for production. Bastards.

I saw those mini letters Helen - yea my first thought was wish it was not fox - but I'm very glad to hear he had so many offers and that we should actually get to see something!

Guess we'll have to separate Fox Television from Faux News in our minds.
But it's still Murdoch.

Fox TV sometimes has some good shows. If it's Scott Turow it should be good. He writes good books.
Any idea where it will be filmed since most of Turow's books take place around Chicago?
And wouldn't they be starting to film the pilot soon if they expect to make the fall schedule?

I wonder when they will start shooting the pilot...maybe by the end of the year or sooner? ( filming for Retreat begins in May!)

Isn't pilot season now? I think pilot season is January to April. Maybe he's about to go filming once the publicity for Green Zone is over... ?

I don't know much about these things but it seems to me that the pilot would be filmed about now
and then he'd go do his movie and back to the TV show if it's picked up.

when he was filming Brotherhood episodes, it took from 10 to 14 days,
for one episode....I would think a pilot, would be the same, maybe a week longer...yes, pilot season filming is in the Spring, then he would
go do Retreat....just my opinion, but it's the same as thunder

Filming for series TV begins in July/August, so whenever they show the finished pilot to the Fox executives who decide thumbs up or down, we'll know if we have a show to watch come Fall Season. So till then, it's a waiting game.

I really hope the pilot will be a success. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a show!

Think good thoughts. The production team sounds top notch. Plot from a good source and and an excellent leading man. Who could ask for anything more.

Otherwise known as Voldemort.
They'll get along fine, then?
Well, yay! for Jason! I hope his talent will not be wasted. The synopsis sounds interesting.
