Leading Costars Casting

This pilot for a Fox television series, based on the novel by Scott Turow, was tragically not selected for production. Bastards.

Leading Costars Casting

Post by Chari910 » Wed Mar 10, 2010 8:36 am

First is Madchen Amick
PLEADING GUILTY (FOX) - Madchen Amick ("Damages") has landed a role on the drama pilot, about Mack Malloy (Jason Isaacs), "an ex-cop and recovering alcoholic now serving as a partner in a top-drawer corporate law firm." She'll play Amelia "Brushy" Bruccia, "Mack's tough colleague and the firm's top criminal defense attorney who is having an affair with him." The script details her as follows: "If she wasn't so beautiful, people would call her spunky. With these looks, she's a force of nature. Brilliant, wry, alpha tough, enough to intimidate most men. But not Mack. At least, not usually."

From the Futon Critic

PLEADING GUILTY (FOX) - Omid Abtahi ("Sleeper Cell") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about Mack Malloy (Jason Isaacs), "an ex-cop and recovering alcoholic now serving as a partner in a top-drawer corporate law firm." He'll play Jonathan Ziven, the youngest associate at Gage & Griswell. He's further detailed as an MIT grad with "a Napoleonic charm" whom Malloy dubs "a little prick." Madchen Amick also stars in the 20th Century Fox Television-based hour, which was penned by Jason Tracey. Jon Avnet is directing.

I'll bet he is happy to be playing a lawyer and not a terrorist!! (Even if he does get to play a "little prick!!")
