Based on the popular and critically acclaimed novels by Kate Atkinson, this mini-series was shot on location in Edinburgh and was quickly followed by a second season.

I've just finished "Case Histories", and I am truly impressed...
I liked it very much...I was worried about being able to keep up with all the jumping around, but actually surprised me how simple it was for me...and believe me, that is an accomplishment...LOL
can't wait to start the next novel, One Good Turn...

We are on the same reading schedule KJ - I just finished Case Histories too. I loved the interesting turn of events that happened to Jackson Brodie near the end.
I'm starting on One Good Turn.

WHOOPS.....I'm a bit behind you girls. Only on page 75 but it's going great. I can see Jason as Jackson Brodie. He's perfect.
(Had to finish "In The Name Of Honor" from the library first. Another good book).

I found 'Case Histories' an easy read...I couldn't put it down, I had to keep
reading 2C what happened...yes, Marie, I was surprised at the ending,
myself, for the JB character....

Am almost done with Case Histories and have enjoyed the book.
It's just too bad that Jackson's thoughts, I'm sure, will not be in the script.
They really show and give insight into his personality.

good point grannybear.....but we've seen Jason express many emotions, feelings, without saying a word...
I think he will be perfect with the angst character of JB.

I thought Case Histories was a little on the sad side - but One Good Turn is hysterical!! I love it. I'm almost done - stayed up late last night until I realized I have to get up at 6AM in the morning.
The make up artist is going to have a blast - poor Jackson has more bruises One Good Turn!!! Love the characters in these books!

Marie.....He may have bruises but as long as they don't kill him off that's OK.
