DH is trying to sort out an update to the software for this message board, and I am doing my best not to totally hose it up. HOWEVER. Our best intentions may be no match for this, so if you're in the middle of something and the board suddenly goes bye-bye, I wish I could tell you not to be concerned, but all I can promise is it's nothing personal, and we'll try hard to restore a backed-up version.

Oh No!!! Whats happened??? It takes me ages to get used to sudden changes, I haven't been back to the ebay message boards since they changed them.

Well, Grils, it ain't the same, but it's a lot like the old one--!
So far we've lost our lovely colour scheme (which was down to Gillian) and our beautiful blue-eyed man (ditto), but so far, I see our emoticons (hello Monkeybutt!) and I've managed to restore our avatars!
Hm. Emoticons are now spread across two "pages," which is a little dreary, but I do admire the way that special topics--Announcements etc.--are set apart, and some of our members may appreciate another feature I've just noticed: at the upper right, just under the "search" button, is a white A with an arrow on either side. That's to control font size. Just click to the right to increase, and left to make the type smaller.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to investigate aesthetic options.

This might not be as bad as it seems, at least for me. I was always minimizing the window with that pic when "boarding" while at work.
