Jason talks about AWAKE on set

This is a TV series about a police officer after a fatal car crash killed either his son or his wife. He lives in two realities. One where his son survived the accident, and one where his wife survived. He doesn't know which is the real one, and he doesn't want to know. It aired on NBC, and was cancelled after one season.

Leave it to Jason. Looks like the pilot will even have some "beefcake" shots. (or whatever you want to call it)

the first video I saw, where Jason was sitting on set, talking about AWAKE, he stated the characters Mike and Hannah
do love each other, and that she wanted to have another child, because they had lost their only son...

Well, if you're gonna get beef caked, might as well show it off...LOL

Actually, I think it's to show how much he does/did luv the wife...building his character

But he was also attracted to his son's tennis instructor! Not sure how I feel about that since he can see his wife and be with her like..every other day.?? He shouldn't get that lonely.

well if the reality is that his wife has died, that's why he's attracted to the tennis instructor...

keeps you a bit off balance, doesnt it?

To tell the truth, the tweetfest was a bit of a non-event IMHO. However, Char did get an answer to her question.

I gave up after 90 minutes as I had to sleep and ended up with only 3 1/2 hours before I had to get up for work. :-|

Love the latest video. Thanks for posting it. Look forward to watching it again and again when I get home tonight.

I've watched the video so many times- and I still get excited watching. The trailer was well done, I love how it ends with him saying: "trust me, when it comes to letting one of them go, I have no desire to ever make progress" (ta certo??)
I'm speechless. This line of dialogue shows the character's dilemma...he can't bear to lose his loved ones, he wants both in his life. :heart

Carole, I agree that the tweetfest was disappointing. There was no one from NBC officially tweeting to give any good info. :twisted:

Yes, it was completely disappointing, Char. NBC could have handled it much better by having someone there to deal with the Awake threads in the fest. I followed one of the guy who was there, but he really wasn't interested in Jason or Awake (more about Christina Aguillera LOL) ;-)

Char, I didn't thank you enough in the last post. I appreciate the considerable time and effort you have given in doing the 97 screencaps alone of the trailer. They are indeed incredible. :yip :yip :yip :yip :yip

I've just saved the lot to my hard drive for reference. I'm sure you noticed while doing them, as did I when saving them, that they also use a colour filter to distinguish between the two realities. A blue tinged one for the reality with the son, and a warmer, yellow one for the wife.

Another way of telling which reality you're watching.
