Jason talks about AWAKE on set

This is a TV series about a police officer after a fatal car crash killed either his son or his wife. He lives in two realities. One where his son survived the accident, and one where his wife survived. He doesn't know which is the real one, and he doesn't want to know. It aired on NBC, and was cancelled after one season.

I know he said for a long time that he wasn't interested in doing a run-of-the-mill cop show, but it looks like he held out for the right one! And Char, I have to add my gratitude and admiration for your hard work!

The cop shows he turned down (The Chicago Code and Detroit 187) both ran one season now are cancelled

There are too many cop tv shows. The audience want something new and different- like "awake".

Yes Angel. Agree plenty of cop shows but this also has a human interest story so maybe it will hold both the interest of the ones that like the cops and those who want more of life stories. From what I've read around, people seem to be very interested in Jason's character and his story.
