The End of the World

Post by grannybear » Fri May 20, 2011 11:13 am

I don't know why we are so concerned about when Awake will show or if Case Histories will be a hit. The end of the world is coming starting May 21 so we won't be here. HA!

Graaaaaanybear--isn't it the end of the world only for the Chosen, while the rest of us heathen are stuck here on earth??
I thought the lucky got raptured and we were left with the dregs. *tchuh* So hard to get the stories straight.
There are interesting corollary developments: there's a website advertising a service that'll take care of pets of the Righteous after they've been whisked away to Paradise leaving their pets to languish untended, and I received an invitation to join in Post-rapture looting.
EternalStudent pointed out though that owners of most of the good stuff will, unfortunately, not be going anywhere . . .

Like Angel says, so many predictions, so little time!

I believe the chosen are raptured and those of us that are left have to undergo earthquakes, floods, and all kinds of earthly catastrophes. Then in October (I believe that's the month) the earth will come to a complete end and we will be no more.
I suggest towards the end we all meet for a farewell drink or 2 or 3. I'll buy.

Oh my goodness. Ha, Ha, Ha.

Reminds me of that favorite bumper sticker of a few years back:

"After the rapture, can I have your car?"

Well, it's Sunday the 22nd and we're still here. So be it.

Hilary I'm sorry you didn't get to go to the Post-Rapture looting party. Also hope you didn't give up your dog.

Anyway we didn't want to go anyplace because we would miss Case Histories and the premier of Awake. We do have our priorities.

Clearly you guys didn't get the memo.

It's May 21st, 2012 that it happens.

You know, you've got to keep the end-of-the-world stories straight and then combine them into one, nice, easy-to-follow date trail.

I don't know. All the talk here was for May 21,2011 but they say there are more dates hanging out there for the coming year. One based on the Mayan calender but I forget the date. Doesn't matter. I'm sure we'll be told again in good time.

In the meantime I'll have another piece of that carrot cake. And maybe a tall glass of milk.

You mean you ladies are not in Heaven by now? I thought all of us Isaacsettes were going straight up there! I know I am! I've been looking for you all day?
