This says DVD will be released June 27 (maybe they release it earlier because they have moved other date?), and extra material is behind the scenes and interviews with Jason Isaacs and Kate Atkinson :D

I'm almost sure it's Region 2. I don't think there will be a Region 1 version of this before it has been on TV in America...

I'm still surprised that Escorial is coming here at all. Thought that was long gone.

Amazon has changed the release date for the region 2 DVD to June 27. That's no time to wait at all!

And I may have a tiny chance to watch the episode that airs next Sunday when I'm in London... :wheee

I'm sure region 1 will not be released till it plays on TV in the U.S.

We can only hope to see Jackson Brodie in the not too distant future here in the US...wish I could play Region 2. (sigh)

The dvd is on its way two days early!

There is a postal strike in Canada right now, but I received an amazon.ca order anyway, so this had better arrive.

I know several (though mostly in the SF and fantasy genres rather than detective).

And then there's Kate Atkinson...
Yes, and Agatha Christie- how did I forget her? I used to read her books when I was a teen.

That reminds me; Fenella Woolgar, who played "Amelia", played Agatha Christie in an episode of Doctor Who. Sorry for the threadnap.

I haven't got mine yet. (I expect it tomorrow or Thursday).

http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/dvd/Case+H ... -6961.html

According to this: The DVD contains extras such as Behind The Scenes on Case Histories & interviews with Jason Isaacs, Kate Atkinson and is sure to intrigue and thrill audiences nationwide when it’s released on DVD.

Maybe Inamac can confirm this, but she might be busy watching. Can't say I blame her :lol
