They keep saying friday night is a bad TV night but look at Blue Bloods. This has been a hit.
Shows up in the top 20 frequently. Maybe what friday needs is some good shows.
Not all of us go out on friday nights. Maybe dinner out but then back home. At one time
friday and saturday nights were prime time. Let's bring that back.

The whole family are cops or former cops (except for a lawyer in the DA's office).
It also shows their family life.
It's on CBS at 9pm. Try it.

I just don't pay much attention to what night things are on since I DVR everything (except football games.) However - I am hoping that Awake does not get put up against some other strong already establsihed show. X-Files used to be on Friday nights and it did pretty well until Duchovney left. I'd rather have it on Friday night than against some show like American Idol.

According to Jason's IMDB page http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005042/ filming on Awake is completed, but they only have a listing for 5 episodes having been filmed (see here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1839683/episodes ) also they have them listed as beginning screening in february 2012. I had read somewhere that 13 episodes were being filmed to begin with (which happens, I know, when they are not sure if a series will be kept going) but I'm confused now Have they cancelled filming it after only 5 episodes? Does anyone know whats happening?

The AD just tweeted it was day 1 of episode 5. It's just IMDB not having updated the status since the pilot was completed, probably... nothing to worry about.

Really? Yaaaaaaay!!! Thank you honey, I appreciate your reply I absolutely panicked, I've been waiting, as we all have, for what feels like forever to see this programme and the idea they would cancel it out from under everyone was enough to actually make me cry. February though? ick. What a wait

Yay! I'm so excited to see this show! The promotional stuff I've seen until now is so promising and I like the idea. The story sounds a little bit like "Fringe", which is also a good series.

I watched the trailer for this the other day and it looks increadible. It sort of reminds me of the movie "Premonition" with Sandra Bullok. And it also seems as though it would've made a great Twilight Zone episode lol. Either way, I'm psyched for this!!
