Alan Rickman could also handle the quirkiness of Dr. Who. But—no brainer—my money's on Jason.

I think this would be a great fit too. Quirkiness+sex appeal. I hate to say it, but I think JI may be just a hair too old for James Bond, but Dr. Who?? Just right.

Hmm...I'd actually be happy with most of these suggestions. I've watched the new Dr. Who series, so I'm less inclined to see Rickman (*don't hate me*). Due to some mental scarring with the early Dr. Who series by my father who forced me to watch Dr. Who when little, I can't say that I have any memory of the older Dr. Whos and their personalities. I have to admit I think that Nighy would probably make an excellent Dr. And I'd definitely enjoy Firth as the Doctor. I can see Himself doing well with the role, but at the moment I can't say that he'd be the perfect one for me. *ducks and runs from the rotten veggies being thrown at her* I'd actually have to roll that one around in my head for moment. Hmm... perhaps his Who-style would be more in the manner of Eccleston's Who, rather than Tennant's or Smith's.
Honestly, I'd rather see him as Bond, but I'll take anything I can get...

And they had TWO HP actors in last night's epi: Mr. Weasley and Filch, so perhaps it's not a stretch.
