Jason Isaacs to be Seen at the Oscars!

JI's assistant advises that he's apparently filmed something to be broadcast during the Oscars: he's done a presentation for both makeup and visual effects awards for which Harry Potter was nominated (though his assistant suspected that only one would end up being broadcast). Don't know if he'll be going through seven changes of tux, but other than that, he's sure to knock the socks off James Franco's performance.

I just caught the fleeting glimpse of JI on the video for the visual effects. I missed the first hour, so I don't know if they did the make-up award yet. I love how excited he always is about Harry Potter. You go, Lucius...err...Jason!

They showed both. I posted on the HP board, but I should have posted here.

I mentioned that I was watching "with" friends online, (on facebook). Each time he appeared, I made a plug for Awake.

I also "watched" the Oscars on Facebook while plugging AWAKE and saw both appearances of a very enthusiastic Jason/Potter cast member (sorry without the wig, Dobbie or intact wand, I just can't call him Lucius, he was plugging the film, he wasn't acting). While the Oscars are entirely political, and I knew deep down that Potter would never in a million years win anything, there was a whisper of a cell of hope as long as long as the nomination was there. So we await anxiously for the Emmys for Awake! ln

I watched it on TNT. I was disappointed that Harry Potter did not win...but I enjoyed seeing Jason. =)

I love seeing him talk about how they did the make-up effects.......Kind of wish they'd had that as an extra for Chamber of Secrets.....would love to see him becoming Lucius. *yumdroolyum*
It's a shame HP never got any Oscar recognition, but *sigh* Muggles these days.....
