I am hoping for the customary slew of Sundance photos with Jason. Rupert Grint is in a Premiere there as well, so maybe some hugging former cast-mate pics . . .

The line up of Premieres looks like a crowded field. Press will no doubt be primarily about Lovelace because <whispers> - SEX! PORNY SEX!

But I am pretty excited for "Stoker" -- the first English film from Park Chan-wook (Chan-wook Park to Americans?) He is an amazing and amazingly brutal filmmaker as anyone who saw "Oldboy" can confirm. That film is getting an English remake that Park isnt a part of and I have small hope that it will be half as good.

The screenwriter of "Sweetwater", Andrew McKenzie (an Aussie) is still trying to take it all in that it's been selected for Sundance. I hope my convincing will make him attend. @AMcKenzieWriter on Twitter. https://twitter.com/amckenziewriter

Good news for us. I asked Jason how much was he in this and he said 'quite a bit'.

More info about the young girl in the much scrutinized photo, she was the reverend's 14 yo daughter AND his wife
He also said the incest scene was quite disgusting it may be cut. This character is going to be one of the most hated of his career to date, I fear. Although for him to be able to illicit such a strong feeling from the audience is the testament of how great he is at his craft.. But we already know that.

Very interesting Char, that Jason is going to play such a despicable, loathing character once more on screen. Eduardo Noriega also in Sweetwater, posted a pic on Twitter of him doing ADR work with the Directors in LA. http://twitpic.com/bktkig

This movie is intriguing me more and more.

Ya know, even if that incest scene gets cut, it HAD to be a pretty tough scene for him to do with a 14 year old (even if she was a bit older than 14), I don't think he's ever done a 'sex' scene with a teenager before. I think he had to make at least 1 horcrux to do it justice-even for the most seasoned and consumate actor. I mean, at the end of the day, they're laying in a bed, half neked. Yup, poor Jase...Well, if it gets him out of the house and food in the fridge, life is tough all over... (I flipped flopped a lot here, it's too early for my brain to be working at peak capacity, sorry ladies...) LN

Well, he's just too good at being bad. I guess we'll see what happens with the film. Poor Jason, that must have been awkward. He so rarely gets those types of scenes (in general whether being bad OR good) and then he gets one that like that! Oh boy. I didn't realize that directors would take the consideration of the film crew's sensibilities into account while editing the movie. Is that typical? (Not that film crews aren't allowed to have opinions, but I just never thought about them being a group that would be vocal about movies scenes and how they are portrayed. And I wonder if the "crew" also included the actors?)

Well, (I'm hoping I'm more awake now...) I've heard Jason say on more than one occasion he'd rather work with a director/writer that's collaberative and accesible and will listen to others than those that demand absolute power. So in that vein, it wouldn't suprise me that he would work with a director who is open to listen to a crew (presuming they are fairly seasoned) and actors to guage their gut feelings about a scene-especially one as controversial as that one (maybe it wsn't a problem in the 'Ol West, but we aint there now. Now pedophelia is punishible by time in Azkaban, and I'm pretty positive he HATED Azkaban).
Absolutely, the guy is GREAT at being bad, and now a bottom feeding sleeze. Guess there's nothing he can't do except cook for himself, although he says he's quite the little grocery shopper! :cherub ln

If those sides of the character comes out in other scenes anyway, there won't be a reason to keep it. Even if it is a strong scene, it may not belong in the movie. And the crew's reaction can be a good measure on how people will react to it. If they think it's too much, then there's a chance people in general will think it's too much. Shocking people too much may distract them from what's important in the story...

I hate to see any of Jason's scenes cut - I'm just greedy that way. ;-)

 I completely share that feeling.

Just tried to explain what might be the film makers POV ;-)

I know, maybe in some alternate universe, we'll call it the "Blue World" we can get a different set of lost girls to film makers (in whose films Jason has appeared) and russle up bunches and bunches of deleted scenes and we can put them together in no particular order and have (for us/fanzone ONLY, or on e-bay) one fantstic movie called, oh, I don't know or care what it's called. We can all buy them and send the $ to St. Judes and Oxfam. THEN we get those scenes that never made it into the movies/TV/web series and it'll be really funny...p.s. now it's past my bedtime, it was a long day. g'nite! LN (so essentially, I agree with both of your above comments!);-)

You know LN - a few years ago we talked about making a CD of all Jason's scenes in all his movies & TV apperances (but that was maybe 8-10 years ago) and call it Just The Good Bits! LOL - but now that his movie and TV catalog has expanded quite a bit - it might have to be a multi CD set (and that is only including what made it to the screen!) if we included cut bits - then it would take quite a number of CDs. :D

Not that the Lost Girls would have any argument about watching every minute!!! ;-)

GREAT! job is yours! :D Thank you so much for jumping right in with both feet! (I'm laughing SO hard, it's difficult to type!) Can you try and get that footage of Jason and Gary doing that wand battle? Any other requests? Oh yes, and anything left from the food scene in Passionada that wasn't used, although I think they may have used it all. There's probably most of Potter, Patriot (the huge blockbusters), gosh, that would be a box set I'd do just about anything to get my hands on! Outtakes from Awake, heck if they ditch the incest scene from Sweetwater,we'll make a grab for that too (just to stay on topic)...LN
