In which Jason Isaacs plays a very ungodly man of God.

Only oily movie I can think of is There Will Be Blood. :scratch Don't know if that's the one but it kinda makes sense: Crazy religious fanatics and a bit of wild west in that one too.

It looks like they didn't like the prophet for how it was written, not how JI played it. At least that's how I choose to read it.

There's another review here (at least I think it's new). Some more info about The Prophet in this, but it's not exactly positive:

And this is about the stars donating their gifts:

Ermm...Quite. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I can't figure out if they are suggesting that the character as scripted was a one dimensional character, which might be the case, or if they are suggesting that Jason didn't flesh out the character well. I find it very hard to believe that Jason wouldn't have attempted to give his sleezy character depth. He's usually pretty successful at that for most of his bad men, which is why they are so easy to adore/like (Hook, Tavy, Lucius, The Michaels, geez even Zachary stole the show from the Highlander). He generally imbues them with some sort of pathos.

And on an up note- that's very nice that actors are participating in the re-gifting thing. Yay, Jason! It's pretty hard for the Sandy folks right now with this frigid cold here in the Northeast this week.

Has this been posted? I did a quick look, but I didn't see it on here...I apologize if I reposted by accident.
It's Access Hollywood interview with Himself and January Jones. They seem pretty cheerful.

Have to admit, it's not my find. It was shared by the Jason Isaacs Fans on FB and popped up on my FB feed.

That was from me. I post on the JI Fans FB page. The lovely lady who does @JasonIsaacsFans on Twitter first posted it.

As long as we get it, we're all happy. :D

In that second video link of thunder's, erm, is it possible that Jason's fly is down? He isn't indecent or anything, just . . . *snert* Its around the 1:50 mark I noticed, but really anytime he leans back while gesturing. Or, maybe it is just the cut of the pants.

Anyhoo, this video seems to be a continuation of the interview in thunder's second link above and is cute.

Thanks, Seattlemel :D.
His reaction to one of the directors answers made me laugh.

He's been walking around in a T-shirt while the rest wore thick knitted sweaters. I think that may be the reason for the rusty voice.

So they did cut the incest scene. From what he described, it was not the same scene that he stood up naked since the woman he beckoned was not the daughter. What do you think?

Maybe they just have cut the final part of the scene, but kept the rest. We'll have to wait and see.

Sometimes it pays off to deliberately misspell his name. Another video interview (almost 12 minutes):
