Episode 5: Emma Wilson's Father

Jason plays Peter, an FBI agent who investigates the murder of an archaeologist in Jerusalem. While doing this, he uncovers a 2000 year old conspiracy. The event series was filmed on location in Jerusalem, before the production had to move to Croatia and New Mexico.

It's Good Friday, so I have the day off, but there are family obligations to attend to so this episode will have to wait until tonight. :-(

This was another good ep. Debbie and her rescuer were mighty lucky. I wonder if Josh II has a locator chip in him. I wouldn't put it past Ted.

I'm hoping the Essene is one of the good guys . . . he's got Avram and Red! That kiss between Avram and Elena was pretty chaste . . . maybe not for him.

So. Yussef was a loose end that needed to be tied up. I wonder how many "suicides" all these groups will expect to be made before they're through.

Is it just me or do Emma and Vickie not look anything alike? That's seems like a real stretch to me that Peter saw his daughter's face in her in the first ep.

We're halfway through . . .

Really good episode indeed. It was my favorite so far. Will abstain myself from speculation as I'm really into the plot now and just enjoying going with the writers' flow.

Love the titles they give to certain episodes (Meet the Rosenbergs, Emma Wilson's Father).

Happy Easter for everyone!

Same to you, Tosca Nini.

Favorite quotes:
Driver: 'Will he need a ride?'
Lynn: 'No, I just gave him one'

After taking a whiff from the bong
Peter: 'It's been a while'

The actor who played Julie, the drag queen tweeted that when Julie said ' I'm not
Into threesome' he was really acting. (Who would say no to Peter and Golan?).

Why are the ratings dropping when the show is just getting better?
Char, my favourite line was the "Brad's Pitt is a gay bar" line.

Tosca, Happy Easter to you too. :D

And anyone else who celebrates.

"Brad's Pitt is a gay bar" line.

I don't get why the guy said that the name Brad's Pitt made it obvious that it was a gay bar. I could see if it was named Tom Cruises. (Sorry if there are TC fans here.)
If the explanation is too risqué, please PM me.

Helen, I didn't think was obvious either. Maybe that's why it was funny.

And now you've got me thinking of possible explanations.

Came home from vacation, first thing I did: Watched Dig. This episode was a lot more emotional than the others. Hope they continue this way, and that a lot of people will come back to see it.

Happy Easter (God Påske!)

It's Brad's Pit, not Pitt. You can use your imagination what PIT could symbolize in gay language.

Don't think the ratings drop had anything to do with Jason not tweeting, or did it?

Doesn't seem to be getting much attention from the critics at this point. Keep waiting to see a must watch this Thursday advisory from a TV guide or critic.

I don't think it had much to do with Jason not live tweeting. Maybe because of the holidays? Hope they'll come back.

I think the holidays are one of the main reasons for the ratings drop. DIG is really a risky series, though, and needs attention to be followed. It will probably be rediscovered by new viewers after it runs out. Hopefully not too late to be recommissioned... But they could always restart it, as they did with Case Histories. Or is that not usual in US TV? It is in UK and in Portugal.

I hope Dig will get attention in Norway, seeing previews are coming up for it, but it's not not one of the largest channels, so I don't actually expect much.

I don't know how it works, but Brotherhood got 3 seasons even if they didn't' have a lot of viewers. Maybe if USA network is happy with the quality of the show they will want to try another season? Maybe it will be easier to make people watch with a less controversial theme... Looks like a lot of people have a lot of grudge for this series for no other reason than not liking what it is about or where it was made.
