DVD and Blu-ray release?
I found these two links:
http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=16795
http://www.dvdreleases.org/drama/dig-season-one/
They are both saying Dig will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 11. It looks like it's region 1.
And apparently, we can preorder at Amazon.

Re: DVD and Blu-ray release?
I pre-ordered it. But gulp - that's a pretty hefty price tag for 10 episodes! Since it's Amazon if the price goes down you get the lower price - so yea!!!!
I can't wait to watch straight through multiple episodes with no commercials!!!!!!

On Amazon, I only see downloading instant videos, not pre-ordering DVDs. Where aren't I looking?

Thanks for the directions, thunder. Slow on the uptake these days.
Marie, I see what you mean about the price for 10 eps.

I'm so glad they are releasing Dig on DVD, and with deleted scenes and documentary included in both formats. I'll finally be able to become legal. But the price... Let's hope the euro gains some terrain against the dollar. Either that or I'll have to start dieting on other expenses... I'm definitely buying it!
Re: DVD and Blu-ray release?
That is pretty steep.

Re: DVD and Blu-ray release?
It usually gets cheaper before they release it.
Re: DVD and Blu-ray release?
And the Amazon DVD cost is now down to $38.23! I just made the free shipping.
Re: DVD and Blu-ray release?
It's CDN$ 32.89 at amazon.ca.
ETA: The dvd is CDN$ 32.89. Blu-ray is CDN$ 40.49.
ETA: I can't see it on amazon uk.
(I just keep checking things because I don't want to work.)

I've published my full DIG Menu. Can you see it at http://www.yumpu.com/en/document/view/39235416/the-menu ?
Can't send it to Jason now, as he is apparently starving at the Critics Choice Awards...

Woops, I'm sorry, Tosca! I forwarded him a link on Twitter (and confession: I used his starvin' Marvin twitter status as a carrot for him to go look) (I'm totally macabre like that and I'm not even going to apologize). I got excited when I saw it--it's just crazy cool (I think).
I also think you're amazing. This was just amazing! You're like a super creative food artist (I think Food Network ought to give you your own show, wherein you come up with dishes and menus people can make to go with their favorite TV shows and/or movies and/or Broadway productions). I'm still incredibly impressed with your breastplate stones. That was dedication! And I'm impressed with your research. The whole thing is just super rad. So are you.

Re: DVD and Blu-ray release?
Thanks Amy, you're so generous with your praise!
I had great fun doing my DIG Menu and eating it, apart from the lost filling. Well, that was funny too, it's my DIG "scar".
May repeat the experience when I get "the inspiration" again. As for getting a Food Program, I pity the viewers if they ever get to know what I throw in my pans!
Ori Pfeffer favorited my DIG Menu but didn't reply or RT. Don't think JI will do it either. Perhaps my confession of being a UIPOD member on the Menu prevents them from saying anything. But how on earth could I have seen the series almost live from Portugal if not this way? And I promise to buy the DVD! Scout's Honor!
Poor Jason, left starving at an awards ceremony and not even being able to lose the award properly must have been nuts. And hilarious too! Are people not allowed to eat before their category is announced and awarded? Or was he just nervous beforehand? Starvingly Nervous?
And why didn't they nominate DIG? It deserved at least a nom for best dramatic series, surely!
