Sounds like Verbinski has some very loyal followers. Add us Jason-loyal fans to the mix, and it'll have a decent showing.

Thanks for the scoop, Thunder.
My guess is that, reading this snippet:
"Verbinski has commited to making a supernatural horror film called A Cure for Wellness, which follows a man who travels into the Swiss Alps to find his boss, only to be trapped in a mental institution..."
Tanzania will stand for the Swiss Alps, which are ubber expensive to film on. Remember that the Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania.
And I think the boss will be JI. But I'm so often wrong that anything I say is wild speculation, more akin to Divination, really.
Another clue in the article is that:
"...A modest, studio horror film is always a guaranteed money-maker..." And JI said he was going to be in 2 low budget movies... One is Blue Dog.
And A Cure for Wellness starts filming in June. So JI could be filming in July, good time for climbing Kilimanjaro (he also said he hoped to survive Tanzania).

This says it's going to start shooting in Europe in June:

And as far as I know, Tanzania doesn't have any film incentives (but is probably a low-cost country). A lot of Eastern European countries have film incentives, and they have mountains as well. (They usually stand in or Norwegian mountains in Norwegian movies, because Norway is too expensive.) I don't know...
...distributed worldwide
I think he may be the bad guy in this... not basing it on anything.

As I said, I'm a Divination trainee...

Well, your divination even if a trainee, is probably better than my wild guesses.

Got tired from saving the world from the perpetrators of the end of days?

I hope when they say "horror" they mean more like "psychologically terrifying." Psychological terror I can deal with; blood and guts no can do, mis amigos. (I would see it for the Jason bits and to support him...but sit with my eyes closed/fingers in ears every time someone got slashed to bits. Every single time!).
I saw THE BABADOOK because (a) a friend recommended it, (b) Mark Kermode loved it, and (c) I remembered Jason Isaacs tweeting about it. I thoroughly enjoyed that one--I'm telling you all this, because my fingers are crossed that this A CURE FOR WELLNESS film is more in that vein. Otherwise, I'll sit with my eyes/ears closed to people being slowly disemboweled.
I also can't look when I have blood drawn. (On a related/unrelated side note.

He's going to be the villain:
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-v ... ore-799279
Jason Isaacs has signed on to play the villain in Gore Verbinski’s supernatural horror project A Cure for Wellness.
(...)
Isaacs will play the facility’s director, an aristocratic man who has dark designs on a patient (Goth).
And he just tweeted he's going to Berlin and is going to be there for months... so I don't know about the two other movies now.

Thunder, you end up being completely right and me completely wrong.
But it would be great to see the Kilimanjaro standing for the Alps, in a comedy of course
And Jason could take a blue dog with him, just to mix all 3 movies.

It seems JI is at the Hohenzollern castle filming A Cure for Wellness at the moment, according to the following link:
http://www.swp.de/ulm/nachrichten/vermi ... 04,3346508
From translating the article I learned that they are filming until Friday and that the castle is closed to tourists. It will open on Saturday again. A local has flown above the location and spotted a pool and something looking like a guillotine (ouch!).
I suppose they will return to Babelsberg studio in Berlin afterwards.

That's a fine looking castle right out of fairy tales!
Thanks, Tosca.

Wow...WOW! That's pretty much all I'd be able to say while walking up to and through that place. I bet that castle has got some STORIES in it, and maybe some creepy ghosts to boot.
It does look like a fairy tale castle! ...is this going to be like a creepy Cinderella horror film? I'd swallow my fear of guts and gore and go see that.
(Thanks for finding + translating that, Tosca!)
