A Cure for Wellness (New project)

Jason Isaacs plays the lead doctor of a wellness centre, where a young executive is sent to retrieve his boss. No one seems to want to leave this wellness centre, and the young man (Dane DeHaan) discovers that nothing is like it seems at first sight.

At least I think htye moved hte date to Feb. 17th. And it's already on my local cinema's programme :woot

...I have to think about daring to watch it a bit more, but I can't see how I can pass up seeing JI in the cinema in a pretty big role. Just have to take it as an adult ... I think. :???:

The Doctor sounds kinda Lucius-like. That should at least be reassuring. :uhoh

I think rather more Voldemort than Lucius (Lucius reminds me of Trump - all bravado and hot air -- but much better looking). Or after last night ..... more like Negan. :-(

Hmm. Had to Google "Negan." I'm sooo not a zombie fan. :bag:

Negan does far more damage with his bat "Lucile" than any Zombie could do. But Jason would have made a fantastic Negan - although Jeffery Dean Morgan is doing a pretty damn good job with the role!

I turned down the volume on the first episode of this season. Negan, or that kind of character in general, is equal parts horrifying and tedious. And I like JDM.

I had to look away. Zombie guts are one thing but characters we love getting smashed into a red blob. I saw the first strike and had to look away.

The Walking Dead is the highest rated cable TV show in the US. (Most viewers). Negan is a new character (very bad guy) just introduced at the end of last season and the season premier for the new season was last Sunday. We all knew a favorite character was going to die at Negan's hands (well baseball bat covered in barbed wire in this case) - however instead of one there were two favorite characters killed in a very gory way! I love this show and everytime I see Jason I ask him why doesn't' he do Walking Dead. Several of his good friends (David Morrisey and Lennie James) have appeared on the show. I think it would give Jason tremendous visibility but he doesn't seem interested. I think Jason would have made the best Negan - but if I can't have Jason as Negan at least Jeffery Dean Morgan is wonderful at the part!

Probably much more than you wanted to know....... ;-)

A lot of people watch The Wallking Dead here too. Just not me... I don't have that much time to watch a lot of series. But if JI is in them, I will make some priorities...
