So 4 months away

Post by BrodieCaffee » Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:16 am

It's been 4 months since I last logged in here and stuff has happened:

1: Had dental surgery this morning and another 2 over the next two weeks
2: Gaming is still full on as is fic writing too
3: Major family stuff going on with one of my siblings
4: Kitty cat not well atm

That's for now but might appear back again in a few months or longer, just got a lot of stuff going on right now and looking after my mom who had dental surgery yesterday, things have been busy and I'm also trying to fix my PS4 as well, it's been one thing after another lately and hopefully in a few months things should be normal again, that is if they ever get that far...

Had my second round of dental surgery which has left me with a sore cheekbone on the right side, been playing Star Trek Online and it's good fun and still got lots to do before I get to Lorca tho!

Sadly gaming has to take a back seat as there's a chance that I might need surgery on my right wrist, waiting for word for an ultrasound scan to see if it's a ganglion cyst which sucks but then if it ts then I won't be able to do anything for six weeks...

Gosh. I hope gaming didn't cause the wrist problems. Good luck, BC.

I'm not sure how it happened but waiting now for word on the ultrasound scan and see what it shows and the doctor said that there is a high chance that it is a ganglion cyst..

I had one of those on my wrist. I had to wear a brace that kept my thumb and wrist from moving. Wore it for a month and the cyst went away. It’s a bad area for surgery lots of nerves. I got a track ball at work and home in place of the mouse. Thankfully it has not come back. Listen to your Dr. and hopefully you will get past it quickly.

Well I ended up in hospital the last Friday of September and had x-rays and bloods which all were clear and 4th doctor's visit which she could feel lumps where the possible cyst was and I've been using Arnica Gel which seems to help and doesn't burn my skin unlike other gels I have used in the past, still waiting for the scan....

Get better soon, Brodie. Hope the scan comes back with nothing serious.
