Re: The Project
I did see him on stage in Pinter's The Dumb Waiter with Lee Evans (a two-man play). It's not my favourite thing he did, but it was great to see him live, and both men gave excellent performances. I have since read that the film In Bruges was based on the storyline in the play. The thing I would most...

Re: The White Lotus (season 3)
Jason looks very hot (as in heat) in that second one. Maybe he should try wearing loose trousers and light colours. I know he loves his black and navy.
I have to laugh when I see he is signing pictures of Lucius!

Re: Graham Norton
There also used to be an older lady, Betty Hoskins, who was on all the old Graham Norton shows. Jason already knew her too, as we found out when he chatted to her on the show. She was a dinner lady at the drama school.

Re: Tennis interview
Thanks for that. I love Wimbledon, and remember Ilya Nastase. He was a real mixed bag: friendly, exchanging jokes with the crowd, acting the clown, and then he would lose his temper and shout at the umpire. He became grumpier as he got older. He played doubles with Jimmy Connors, who also would beco...

Re: The Death of Stalin - In Consert
The link says "... screened in live synchronisation with Christopher Willis' powerful score for the first time." I take that to mean they will show the film and play the music live at the same time - presumably the music bit of the soundtrack will be missing, but the dialogue will still be there. It...

Re: Articles and interviews
This isn't an interview with Jason, but a short (4 min) radio piece about Cary Grant/Archie in Bristol. I found it very interesting, especially the bit about Bristol bricks being used to build New York.

Nor I - or that Jude Law was supposed to play Tavington.Anniemouse wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 5:29 pmI never knew that Jason won the role against the A list actor for Peter Pan.
I liked the bit when Jason met the man who dubs him into French (I assume that was as Lucius?)

Re: Bring the Drama
Sounds interesting. I follow a couple of channels for young musical actors on YouTube, and it's definitely not easy to break into that industry. And once they've gotten one job, doesn't mean they will be cast in something new when their contract is over. This sort of thing also happened to people w...

That's a long interview - I think she's a fan!
Jason said much more about Cary Grant and Dyan in that interview too.

Re: Life in Film Podcast
A good interview - Jason still seemed to have a bit of the orange tan left on him - it complements his eyes.
It's interesting to hear how open he is about his addictive past nowadays.

I've noticed that some Northern English accents and Scottish accents have some Norwegian sounding slang. :D I lived in the Netherlands for 9 years, and some words are very similar in different northern European languages - I could understand the signs on the ferries in Norwegian or Swedish because ...

Re: Peter Pan
Without rereading the book, I would summarise the difference is that the story is about Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys (which include Wendy's brothers). Tinker Bell is a main character too. She is in love with Peter so she hates Wendy, so that bit is the same. However although Hook is not in the sto...

Re: Peter Pan
I haven't rewatched this recently, although I often catch it on TV here (where it's shown regularly around Easter & Christmas when children are off school). I think it's a great film for Jason, as he has so much screen time, and gets to play so many emotions as both Hook & Mr Darling. Jason is one o...
