Sprog called Skyfall a perfectly acceptable Batman movie.
Indeed. Seems like Bane had surgery to look like Javier Bardem. As for Alfred, he looked more Scottish than I remembered. And man, does Ann Hathaway look like Dame Judi!

I'm resurrecting this thread because... wow. That's our man getting all cuddly with Daniel Craig!

If that isn't a sweet dream for a fangirl, I don't know what is!
Sorry, I'm on a Bond-age spree, these days.

Re: E-mails from Jason
It really is a shame that Mr. Isaacs' (latest) American project did not keep its promises. All of us here would like so much for him to be a planetary, nay, a universal superstar! Unfortunately, it did not work... THIS TIME! His talent, handsomeness and brilliance have been saved for something even ...
Re: Reviews
Dang it, could they stop talking about it and SHOW IT, for Potter's sake! That loooong build up of expectation might make people disappointed when it finally airs!

You see, to me, these books are fan fiction. They just make slight changes to the names of existing characters.

Re: Fan fiction
Indeed, horse_lover, Tavington is probably a hard character to write for "appropriately". He's quite heinous as a man. But we still love him, don't we?
And of course, you don't have to love fanfic! There are so many other pastimes and hobbies out there!

I especially liked his stance on good things, you know, that they should be had/done till one drops dead (or something to that effect). Rwoar.

So are pretty much all Star Wars novels.
And what about contemporary "sequels" of classic novels, like The Wide Sargasso Sea which is a Jane Eyre "prequel", I think?

Re: Case Histories Coming To PBS this October
My complaint is that it shows too late : I have to get to bed early, darnit! I push 'til 10:30, but it's the latest I can go! So I miss a whole 30 minutes, ie, the dénouement ... I'll buy the DVDs anyway. Also the sex scene in Brodie's office, a little shorter and less bouncing? LOL Shame, uh? :oops...

Jesus, I think it's the third time I rewrite this post : I test the link and close the window without posting! What a klutz I am! So, here is it. It took me long enough : I don't have a scanner at home and always forgot the magazine when I went to my mother's. I hope it works, I never shared a file ...
