    :adore :wheee :adore   :adore :wheee :wheee Words fail me. OK. Umm ... it was a great episode and he was fantastic in it, as was the entire cast. I even liked Natasha Little a ... little. It was pretty heart-rending all round. I mean, gut-wrenching...

Re: The Ubiquitous 'Should Jason be the new Doctor' Thread
That's a great link, Thunder. Takk for det. I'm now feeling all churlish for not enthusing more on the possibility of him being the new Doctor, but I stick by what I said. Although I do think he would make a fantastic Doctor and bring something entirely different to it - calmer, more controlled, mor...

The Ubiquitous 'Should Jason be the new Doctor' Thread
To which the answer is, most sensibly, no. But why not bandy his name about too? Not that I don't think he'd make a great Doctor, and it would be utterly brilliant to see what he did with it, but I think the role comes with so much baggage and expectation that it is probably not right at this stage ...

Re: Case Histories 2 reviews - SPOILERS!!!
Good ol' Radio Times. Pick of the Day. Yippee! Alison Graham is a fan, but doesn't seem to have realised Jackson redecorated his bedroom for Marlee.

Re: Interviews
Thanks for the article - what lovely pics. Very generous and kind of him and his family to share those. Makes me smile a lot and think of happy times with my own kiddies.
I can't see those caps at all. It says they've been moved. ?

Re: Interviews
Not a Jason interview, but a nice one with Amanda Abbington, his co-star in Case Histories, with some funny references regarding her son and one of Jason's other screen personas. ;-) http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-05-26/amanda-abbington-sherlocks-martin-and-benedict-have-a-fantastic-chemistry A...

Re: Case Histories 2 reviews - SPOILERS!!!
I know what you mean, although I think that too much has been made from the beginning about comparisons with the books, and the entire concept of adapting Case Histories for TV has suffered as a result. I've read the books, and enjoyed them as books, and I have tried to separate off my perception of...

Re: Case Histories 2 reviews - SPOILERS!!!
Viewing figures down to 3.47 million, which is a bit of a bummer, but hardly surprising as it was up against Britain's Got Talent this week. The comment on Twitter has been largely very positive. Far fewer comments about the complexity of the plot. Some issues with the music - people are split on th...

Re: Case Histories 2 reviews - SPOILERS!!!
The second episode was great. My husband, who is the hardest man to please in the history of hard men to please, sat through the entire thing, made sympathetic faces at the appropriate places, laughed a considerable amount (not sarcastically) and, at the end, declared, 'That was a lot better than la...

Re: Another fan! (Just have to share)
This is such a funny thread! Love seeing other people's closeted crushes. I always felt a bit guilty for being relatively quiet about my, err ... devotion. (Not sure what to call it.) The most I've managed is, 'I quite like Jason Isaacs,' at which point I usually then have to go into an unintentiona...

Re: Case Histories 2 reviews - SPOILERS!!!
A more favourable review. http://www.theartsdesk.com/tv/case-histories-bbc-one-0 The complicated plot is clearly an issue - it seems the translation from book to screen proved tricky again, despite best intentions. I have more hope for the original scripts. Like I said before, shame they couldn't st...

Re: Case Histories 2 reviews - SPOILERS!!!
Apparently Case Histories got 4.9 million viewers (20.8%).
British Soap Awards with 5.7 million (24.9%) in first place.
Not bad. About the same as the last series, although it would have been nice to have tipped over 5 million.

Re: Interviews
After last night's CH, I'm definitely a Jacksonette. I'll stick to that. Easier to say. Although I feel the suffix '-ette' lends a frivolous and deceptively youthful quality which is increasingly lacking in reality. Speaking of age - the birthday listed on the fake passport Jackson burnt in t...
