Re: Passionada

I don't think it is his worst movie. I too am baffled by the downer on the wig. I think it is a hairstyle that was unfashionable so that did not help. I think Hotel can beat that for being bad. I never saw that Spanish period drama so cannot comment on that but his comment in the book makes you wond...

Re: Articles and interviews

I listened to this podcast and it was fascinating. Always fun to hear Jason's natural Liverpudlian accent. He was spot on about Brittish accents denoting social class, economic status, and authenticity. I find it fascinating that we are such a small country but our accents change dramatically within...

Re: Peter Pan

Many things have struck my about this movie. Boy is it handsome. Lucious tones and stunning costumes are just a start. I watched this on TV one Christmas many years ago and was surprised that I had never heard of this version. P.J.Hogan did a great jopb sticking closely to the original text and it i...

Re: Puzzled

I absolutely love that. First of all I cannot get over that he does not blink! That must have taken a lot of concerntration. Love his house. And so sweet to see Emma's Gran (bless her) Which is which with the girls. They look a happy family. I feel oddly guilty watching it though.

Puzzled

I just watched thin youtube clip

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBSaXSPUU18

1 min 12 seconds onwards puzzled me. I have never seen this before. Is this Jason and the girls at home. If so what was the context.

Hope you can answer this as I am baffled.

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club

I think a subforum would be cool. As long as I can find it as my sense of direction is useless :lol By the way I watched The Fix again. I just checked and it was a 90 minute show so where an earth the rest has gone is anyones guess.

Love the idea of Peter Pan.

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club

They must have taken it down because I did see the whole version in 2020.

Just had a look and that looks like something was chopped out(although not much) I think it was worth watching but maybe not for the group discussion. I enjoyed it though. Forgot that Steve Cooghan was in it too.

Re: The Lost Girls Film Club

I nominate The Fix, Inside Number 9 Ashendon, Dangerous Lady (TV)

Peter Pan, After the Fall or Skelletons (film)

My no 1 choice is the Fix.
