I check at eBates first, but I've recently saved myself significant sums by a simple expedient: before ordering anything from online vendors, I simply Google "coupon 'name of vendor'".
I found a site with a code for free shipping from LL Bean, and I just saved 30% off a single item (I only had one thing to buy anyway!) from the art supplier Utrecht.
You may waste a few minutes looking at crap ads, but if you come up with a winner, hey....

I do that too Hil and that was how I got free upgrade on the Gatwick express.

Usually at checkout if there is a place for 'Coupon code' that means there are coupons out there!

Maybe we should have a thread for 'bargain shopping' and post good deals we found there.

Ha - after ordering HP & HP Special Edition, Bermuda shutters for all sliding glass doors and windows, two new outside doors (made of fiberglass so they won't fall apart like the 6 year old steel doors that the builder put on!) and new wall to wall carpeting & some wood laminate floors. Well ------------- Ugh! Short of cash don't begin to describe it! So now that I'm way over extended I'm sure one of the cats will decide it is time for a nice expensive vet visit. Yes - it is always something!
