Well, well, 4 lookers and no writers? I'll start with a terrible poem then, shall I?
Dear Jason:
You're old as dirt, that's what's been said
From Tel Aviv dirt to that of Jolly old England.
It's not so bad, I tell you true
The aches and pains that bother you, (bound to get worse before they get better...)
You have 1 guf, and you're the shomer
Stop being a bullvan and use some ezra ('play nicely').
You've jumped out of a plane, now thats off of the list
And you've butt tweeted in the Scottish mist.
So ad mea v'esrim I wish you well,
To you and your love ones hatzlacha v'briut.
Yom Huledet Sameach motek, LN (not Auntie Ellen, just Ellen thankyouverymuch!)

Indeed a wonderful, fun-filled very happy 50th birthday to you, Jason.
May this your half century year bring you even greater career satisfaction, contentment and good health.
I'd give an Aussie blessing, but looks like we don't have such things, apart from "ONYA mate", so from this colonial commoner, good wishes and blessings for a wonderful year.
Hooroo,
Carole

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JASON!
You're still young in my (older) eyes, and maturity suits you.
Have a great day!

Happy Birthday!!
Remember: age is just a number. It's what's inside that counts. (Besides...apparently, 50 is the new 30- so you still got another 20 years before you hit 50 again according to that line of thought!) Hope you land gently today. Have a great skydive and a wonderful day!
And if LN is going to pull out the Hebrew, I guess I can pull out the ancient Egyptian:
'nkh, wdj, snb! (Life, prosperity, health!)

I was on my way to work this morning listening to National Public Radio as I normally do when the announcer said (I'm paraphrasing here) - "and Happy Birthday to the most famous dark wizard of all, Lucious Malfoy, Jason Isaacs turns 50 today."
Ah - such a great way to start the day! Happy Birthday Jason - I hope you have a lovely time hurtling out of an airplane or whatever you plan to do! I'm sure your wife and daughters will lavish you with attention. I wish I was around to give you a hug (or pinch you in the ass - isn't that what you said we did????)
Happy Birthday and many more.....
Cheers,
Marie

Happy birthday, Jason. Well done! Keep going!
I've got one of those big round number birthdays next week (decade to go before That One though) and I've been getting a little antsy about it recently, having thought I'd reconciled myself to it for months. Eek. Ah well. Chucking oneself out of a plane sounds like a plan. I'd be so busy freaking out as the ground hurtled towards me that I wouldn't care about time hurtling past. Maybe I'll book.
Have a wonderful day filled with fun, family, friends, fiendish feats, fondant and any number of other alliterative activities.
PS - LadySekhmet - loving the lack of vowels in Ancient Egyptian. How the hell did they play Wheel of Fortune?!
