Re: The Theatre of War
Glad you were finally able to get on, Annie. thunder, did you get in okay?
It was really amazing. I don't think I've ever seen Jason so raw (maybe in Scars/i]). I'm so glad that they repeated it as many times as they did, because I would've denied myself one of his top performances. The rest of the cast was powerful. The chorus was fantastic. Jason really got into the singing.
By the way has he finished filming as he looked like he was at home?
Wasn't this recorded in August? I seem to remember that the first showing was at the beginning of September. I could be wrong.
Antigone is actually on the syllabus and will be studying it
Annie, you'll have a jump on the other students.

Re: The Theatre of War
I thought the performances are live as the cast were all dressed differently the last time I saw it. Also Jason did not sing along last time.
By the way Jason was the most intense in the first play I saw online a couple of months back when he was in the play Ajax. Now that was intense.
Hope that you got on Thunder.

I got in, still listening to the talk, but thinking about going to bed now.
It was very good, and very intense. Glad I managed to see it today.

I stayed until the end and the final song. Jason came back and turned his camera on, but didn't say anything more. I really loved the music in this, and that choir was amazing.

That was it and Jason was on screen for about 70 mins. Lesley Sharp in her car so how she got her cues was amazing. I am so pleased to see that they did record it. The discussion was amazing too.
These Theatre of War productions have been immense.

Has the clocks gone back in the USA yet as it might effect the broadcast time.

Re: The Theatre of War
The Nov 6 is the UK Theatre of War, and I am one hour ahead in Norway, so it's 8 PM for me.
Re: The Theatre of War
We "fall back" Saturday night (Oct 31). That'll certainly confuse me. I'll get my DH to help figure it out.

If I want to know what the time is elsewhere I use this site:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
Just scroll down till you find a city in your time zone and the other one.
I can then work out the time difference for arranging a Skype call to Oz at a mutually convenient time.
