I know nothing more than you, but Jason has done Theatre of War before, maybe he'll do it again. And maybe they'll do it on zoom again.

I hope others can get online this time . You need zoom and book a virtual ticket so you need to register for both sites to get a place. I hope that many more of us can get on this time.

Re: The Theatre of War
*Spoilers*
Well I have just seen the play of Oedipus and am now listening to the follow up discussion. Jason playing Creon was in it a lot less than last time; I believe he appeared for about 15 minutes of the 1 hour 20 minutes of the play.
Damien Lewis was immense as the doomed King Oedipus. It is a great play and the actors all brought their A game to the computer screen. Interesting to see Brían F. O'Byrne (Jason's co - star in Brotherhood) appearing in the role of The Shepherd who reveals a pivital section of the narrative, and again it was fascinating to watch the actors working in such strange and very unusual conditions.
Jason in a simple black T - Shirt against a black background encased in shadow with his face lit almost by a spot of light was again mesmerizing; this time in the smaller role of Creon after his leading role in the last major production that I viewed.
Still Creon was an interesting character, baffled by the unjust accusations from the paranoid King. Creon always steadfastly stating his innocence and honour in the face of ever increasing threat to his life was wonderfully measured against the onslaught of increasingly wild and obsessed King who slowly realises the horrific implications of an ancient prophecy.
Thouroughly enjoyed it all.
Hope many others on the forum got to see it.

Re: The Theatre of War
I was lucky sto catch Jason's bits, but I had to mute a lot of the play because the school I work at has a Covid outbreak. First a colleague called me, and then the students callled me, then a couple of parents. So I was a bit distracted, to say the least. What I saw was very good. It was very intense, and interesting to see how a play works out on zoom. Great job by the whole cast, I thought

The sender was Theater of War Productions. I received one email on Wednesday, and 2 or 3 reminders yesterday. They had different subjects. Maybe it landed in the spam folder?
