Re: JI Collection
I still need to watch the other 6 episodes of DIG and also rewatch Case Histories as I kinda wanna try a fan fic based on Case Histories, maybe a Jackson Brodie/OC kinda thing but try to keep in with the series...

Black Hawk Down arrived this morning
Re: JI Collection
I liked Passionada, too. Pretty sure I've blocked out all memory of Hotel.
As for the wig, it's one clue we use to identify which Jason-character is which when Thunder makes one of her contests for us.

Re: JI Collection
Now I can add Peter Pan to my collection as well, I might even treat myself to the Narcissa Malfoy wand as I'm fighting health problems again and on meds again, been a tough few months for me

Come on, be nice to the Passionada Wig!
I love that movie, and that wig too!

The movie is OK. Not the best - not the worst. The wig - that was the worst wig I've seen Jason wear. I'll give no mercy to the wig. I still love the movie since a lot of it was filmed in New Bedford where I was born!

I'm always the worst at those quizzes.Helen8 wrote:Aw! You gave away the secret, fruitbat!

Marie, it could be that the wig was born there, too. Cut it some slack.

Re: JI Collection
Ugh! Helen are you insulting New Bedford! (Or at least it's wig makers!)
Re: JI Collection
No. I'm tryin' to get the wig some respect.

Personally, I go with "Hate the wig, not the man."Helen8 wrote:No. I'm tryin' to get the wig some respect.
Re: JI Collection
I like Passionada. It's not JI's best film, but it has some good parts, and it will please the locals that I love the scenery. The story stretches credulity a bit, but I've watched worse. It's also nice to see JI as the romantic lead instead of a baddy (although of course he is a great baddy, and they always have the best lines), and to hear him using his own voice instead of being e.g. an American.
But I really hate the Passionada wig! It doesn't even seem to fit properly.

Can we move on to the subject of Jason in tights? I've been watching El Escorial Conspiracy and it's the first movie I see him in tights. Adorable sight, by the way... Great legs! Cat call!
As for the Passionada wig, it seems to be my problem to enjoy it so much... can't do anything about it...
