This is a very informal long interview where they talk about the food they are eating, and different things from Jason's career and life. But the highlight is when he talks about you guys towards the end.

But apparently we are all Floridians.

That's OK I would not expect Jason to remember where we are all from.

Success!!!!!

DH came to the rescue.

So cool that he acknowledges the sexagenarians.
Thanks for posting, thunder, and for your help.

That was a great interview. So nice that he mentioned you US ladies turning up everywhere.
For non UK readers, Jay Rayner is a well-known restaurant critic here who also appears as a judge on TV cooking shows, and on the radio he chairs a foodie panel show. His late mother Claire Rayner was a well-known UK agony aunt, journalist and novelist.

Thanks for posting that, Servlan. I thought this interview was a bit different than others, and this explains it.

I was beaming too hard for coherence earlier—this long-form, looser interview really gave JI a chance to relax and charm. I took a bit of a chance and listened aloud (rather than with earphones), and to my surprise, DH burst out laughing more than once.
(Not sure how thrilled LadyLucius will be to find she’s a sexagenarian though!! It was bad enough being tagged an auntie!)

Sounds like a fun podcast! I will have to download and listen.
Ummm...Jason, just fyi, some of your Lost Girls are younger than you *cough*...like years younger... so less auntie, and more cousin.

This was a really good podcast, I have listened to a couple of the other episodes as well. It seems like the food (and sometimes drink) really makes people talk.
