Guardians

The same seller who had A Relative Stranger had this as well.

This recording also had commercial breaks, but I'm not complaining.

Jason Isaacs plays a policeman investigating sexual abuse against young men, and it makes him question his own relationship with his sons and his father. His father was played by Maurice Roëves who was also in Case Histories. I thought this story was a bit weird, but I can never not like anything that has JI in every scene... I just thought the hypnoses scene was a bit strange. :scratch

It's worth having to have my Jason Isaacs collection as complete as possible. :D

Wow! Thanks for this, thunder. Never heard of this movie. An early one; he looks so young.

A good question for his event coming up would be to ask him about the hypnosis scene! LOL I've never heard of this either.

The hypnosis scene didn't make any sense... it was to prove something (don't want to spoil it) in the courtroom, but it just seemed like a really strange thing to do. I understood the reasoning for it in the story, but I didn't understand how that was meant to prove anything.

It's from 1996, so he was pretty young then. Funny to see his early work too. :D
