The actual story itself is somewhat mediocre. I found myself fast fowarding through most of the non JI stuff.

My advice -- rent it, don't buy it.
Thanks, Gillian. (Lucky Kirstie!....ooops, here I go again. 'Bless me Father'....... ) ~ml

The End of the Affair..
Bought it this year, but haven't watched it until yesterday.
I liked it, but it's not my favorite movie.
But with a priest like that.. I would go to church more often, and even confes..

There'd definitely be a long line of ladies outside the confessional.

I think Jason in TEOTA is a Priest with whom you first make sins and then confess :cherub

btw... TEOTA is one of my favorite Movies, and for me it´s perfect with my favorite actors both in it...

Would be a work for the rest of his life if he had to listen to all our confessions  but I´m quite sure, he would enjoy it :D

Oooh! Can I use that? 'Innocent and shit'? :D
All I can say about this film is that I started watching it to see what Finnes was like as an actor and found a bonus...or I thought I had until I saw the dog collar :-( Heartbreaking!
