November 2008? about time! I'm eagerly waiting for the release of "Good". Judging by the synopsis and the previously posted trailer, it seems like a good movie to go check out.

Thank you, Goodfan.

If those are release dates for New Zealand and Oz, perhaps there will be an earlier premiere for the UK and North America?

Not that it matters. The timing makes it perfect for a world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

*she says optimistically*

So Jason has second billing. Must be a good size role.

I'm lucky, Toronto is only a 1 hr flight from Philly (same as Providence)
I have a passport (of course), Hilary let's go!!

I luv the city of Toronto...it's awesome...

the one article with the earlier release date is talking about an Oscar
nomination for Viggo...excuse me, we all KNOW Mr Jason
is gonna steal this movie...LOL

that would be fabulous for Mr Jason to get an Oscar nomination,
although that award is so "Hollywood", he wouldn't win...
that's OK, he's a winner with US...LOL

I would pass out if he got nominated for an Oscar. I mean...I started screaming like a mad woman when he got nominated for a Golden Globe. My mom had to give me water to calm down.
But from the trailer...Jason's performance looks pretty intense!
And yes I do believe he will steal the movie! HE ALWAYS DOES IT!...it would be really great if both Viggo and Jason got noms...

Regardless of how good he is, he wouldn't win. This years supporting Oscar is reserved for Heath Ledger.

If it is....I would cry!
But I guess you're right...Heath Ledger's performance was...there are no words to describe.
But...we haven't seen Jason's performance in Good yet...it could be better than Mr. Ledger's (R.I.P)...
But even if it was...they would still give it to Mr. Ledger (if he IN FACT guess the nom)

He's practically a shoo-in. I can't even think of any other actor to date who's performance matches that of Heath's. And I don't think it has anything to do with his death. People were going nuts the moment the trailer came out, and that was before his passing.

If they don't nominate Heath Ledger...it would be a BIG mistake. Like I said there are no words to describe his performance. It's mesmerizing, chilling, perfect and...pretty Fierce. Actually...VERY FIERCE.
I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen whenever the Joker showed up. Just...pure perfection.
My mom thought (I always bring in my mom... ) that the only reason everyone wants or has seen that movie is because of his sudden death. But I remember being totally excited the first time I heard that Heath Ledger was going to play the Joker. So...TAKE THAT MOM!......*whispering* I still love you mom....

I didn't see The Dark Knight. Is Heath Ledgers performance that good?
Or is the hype just because of his death? From what everyone has said it's a great performance. I hope so. I wouldn't want him to get a nomination just because....
