Yeah found it in the dictionary. I guess it's a wrong translation then. I apologize but English isn't my first language. It's German so forgive me if I sometimes make small mistakes. But I'm trying to improve.

That's what I thought, too, Kim--that Lisabella had a thing for gents in suspenders! (and Lisabella, if you say that in the UK, people think you're talking about the garters ladies use to hold up sexy stockings, so then you get even weirder looks . . . )
I confess I haven't watched my copy yet--it only arrived last night!!!--but the suit looks to me like linen, which looooves to wrinkle.
I'm gonna speculate that the appearance of his suit may have been a deliberate contrast to the more controlled, "buttoned-down" Halder: JI has described Maurice as a lover of life, someone less restrained.
