Good interview. Thanks Angel.

I'm very curious just how big his part is. Sometimes it sounds big and other time small. I guess we'll find out Friday.

thanx Angel :hug to me, this is the 'best' JI interview about his
character, Major Briggs...

grannybear, I read in one of JI interviews, his role was bigger, then
it was edited, and in the final cut, JI claims he's hardly in it, at all...
I can't remember which interview that was, but it was before all the
publicity started for GZ...

From what I've seen from the trailer, I guess he has some screen time, maybe 10 minutes...? It's a couple of scenes. And all the reviews mention him so I think he's making an impression (of course he does!).

Great interviews and pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I begin to like that mustache... or maybe "like" is a too strong expression, but I've started to accept it...

10 minutes??? Nah, I believe it's more than that. Well, I'm hoping to see more of him in this movie.
Ladies, you will have to tell me if he's got some decent screen time or not coz I'm curious. I won't be able to see Green Zone until april 16th (ridiculous, I know...)

I tried to find it on last week's program and couldn't--but I'm pretty certain JI's scheduled to appear on BBC's 5Live with Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode next Friday, 12 March (I listen to the podcasts).

Paul Greengrass said he cast Jason because...
Jason because he wears the best mustache in history and he's my old mate.
The first point was not entirely true. Jason came up with that pornstache onset!

Matt Damon talked to Latinoreview about the scene that Briggs beat him up:
How important was that to put in there and was it to show that this wasn't you playing Jason Bourne?

Damon: Yeah. I never thought of doing it for that, but Miller should feel like an everyman and Jason's character is supposed to be special forces. Jason's character is like the Jason Bourne guy. So it was never going to be a fair fight. Also, I just tried, if it's a non 'Bourne' movie I try to never win a fight. I think that's always more interesting.

thanx Char and thunder, here is an excerpt from the NY round table
interview:
Do you have any new, personal projects that you’ve been wanting to do?

Isaacs: Well, there’s a thing I’m trying to write and there a thing I’m trying to develop. I think I’m slightly superstitious, I don’t want to put it out there because, I might not write it very well. And there are parts I would like to play, and then things I am negotiating for, and it ends up being somebody else, and they’re deeply bitter that you mentioned it. So I’m slightly superstitious about that sort of thing.

Do you know what you are definitely doing next?

Isaacs: Yeah, I’m doing a film called The Great Ghost Rescue next, which starts in a few weeks. It’s a fabulous family comedy, small British film, or medium British film, in the vain of Addams Family meets Beetlejuice meets Ghostbusters kind of thing. It’s lovely and fun to do things, family entertainment, particularly when you do a lot of dark and scary and provocative things in between
.
