When I went too school (that sounds like it is ages ago but it's only two years^^) my girls and I went to a club and met one of our teachers drunk and acting like an absolute fool. So he told the giggling girls of us in the next lesson that it was just a survey he was doing for better understanding our generation. If some of my students see me there, I'm gonna loose all credibility.
(We didn't believe him )
But maybe you could try that trick too if some of them spot you in the cinema^^
And Angel : I agree with you I'm really not keen on watching a 90 min or more movie with 85 min Taylor Lautner in it. Maybe I should watch it with my sister. She LOVES him and could tell me when Jason appears

I think maybe I have to follow your example, Kj.
The students have already suggested I should watch Twilight to understand them better... and I refused. So I'm not sure that I could use that argument now, Lisabella. (why your teacher even tried that argument, I have no idea... what an idiot.)
I can always try to catch one of the early shows, on a day when I have finished teaching for the day and the students are still at school. But it would look suspicious that I leave after 15 minutes in case I'm the only one there... There's always a possibiliy to disguise myself, but that would be twice as embarassing if I get busted.
But then again, there's the possiblility to go and pretend I don't know anything about the film before it starts... in case I someone see me.
I'm definitely not going becasue of Taylor Lautner anyway.
I can just be honest and say I am going because of JI (it shouldn't be a secret to them that I like him, since I use every opportunity to show clips of him in class... but he is so versatile, they don't notice, or at least they don't say anything).
No one can say that I haven't given this a thought!

Stop worrying too much of what other people think, go watch this movie when it's out!But then again, there's the possiblility to go and pretend I don't know anything about the film before it starts... in case I someone see me.
You don't need to explain yourself to anyone. And if your students see you, just tell them the truth: "I only wanted to see it because of JI"
I fail to understand this 'Twilight' phenomenon. I know vampires movies better than this one. Also, I think that Anne Rice is way better than Stephenie Meyer (I've read all her novels and seen "Interview with the vampire"). So where's the appeal? There's such an obsession with vampires now.The students have already suggested I should watch Twilight to understand them better...
Hm, there might be a psychological explanation to my question LOL.
