The bottom of the Screenworld page says 6X1 hour, so a nice juicy six eps for the first season!

I know several (though mostly in the SF and fantasy genres rather than detective).

And then there's Kate Atkinson...

There are many good female mystery writers and they have both male and female victims.

Yes Kate Atkinson
Lisa Scotoline
Lisa Gardner
Patricia Cornwal
(please excuse the spelling!)
and many others

I love the "In Death" series by JD Robb. It has a variety of victims, killers and cops.

Try reading Elizabeth George. She writes English mysteries even though she's American. They're very good and she's up to date on all things British.

And there's Martha Grimes and Lady Antonia Fraser . . . though she hasn't written any Jemima Shore mysteries in ages.

Just checking in: the release date is still July 11.

Has anyone pre-ordered it yet?

Or, am I the only one who hasn't?

I will be ordering it on my lunch-hour.
