There's a picture of Jason, but I can't get it from the page to my computer. :dunce Sorry. I'm hopeless.

The caption, tho', is "In an upcoming episode, Brodie helps his new teenage sidekick (Gwyneth Keyworth) look for her missing employer."

Okay. Here's something. The PBS Twitter acct.: @masterpiecepbs

Maybe the pic is there.

You're right. Not a bad review.

The reviewer has to learn that all books transcribe to the screen differently. Do not get them confused.
If you can't stand the changes than don't see the screen version.
All in all he seemed to like the show and had good words for Jason.

Ha ha, he mentioned Natasha's turn as Becky Sharp, which I posted about just yesterday.

Well this amusing in a how-to-pi** -me-off-in-one-easy-step kind of way; my PBS station, WNED, isn't showing CH this weekend; it's still on Lewis. nuke.gif

Sorry for the double post.

Thanks, Kim. I liked reading that.(Long time since we've had a long interview) :D

I've been working on a CH video, but I wonder maybe I should wait positing it until after it has aired on PBS... (it's not quite finished anyway)

A very nice review from the LA Times . The first paragraph has much that we all agree with.

If for no other reason than that you get to spend six hours with Jason Isaacs, I am going to recommend "Case Histories," the latest British import to take up residence under the banner of "Masterpiece Mystery" Sunday on PBS. It is not the only reason to recommend it, but it is by itself sufficient; indeed, it overwhelms any small arguments in its disfavor.

That's an excellent review - at least it gives the reader a warning about the 'co-incidental' nature of the plot (which does seem to have got a lot of negative response from non-book readers). And nice to see a reviewer who understands that Jason narrated the audio-books (so many get that confused).

It'll be interesting to see the post-broadcast reviews.
