Based on the popular and critically acclaimed novels by Kate Atkinson, this mini-series was shot on location in Edinburgh and was quickly followed by a second season.

Does anyone have any information on when the new series is being filmed?
He seems to be UK side of the Atlantic for various things at the moment - I should imagine CH will be filmed pretty soon. My best friend lives in Edinburgh ... 'bout time I paid her a visit, methinks ...

When the second season was announced, I'm pretty sure it said that it would come out in 2012... and to make that, they better start soon. And, yes: It's also a good sign that he seems to have other engagements in the UK in May.
But I haven't seen any news about it...

Maybe we will see some interviews with Mr Jason about Awake airing in the UK. Keep a look out!

Saw this on Twitter:

So, Jason Isaacs is on This Morning tomorrow....
Don't know how informed this person is, but people don't usually write these things unless they at least think it's true...

I have just looked on the ITV website and can confirm that Jason Isaacs is scheduled to appear tommorow, Wednesday 2 May.
The show commences at 10.30am -12.25.
Thank you Thunder.

Based on Mr I's recent comments, it looks as if a new CH is unlikely in the immediate future.

Yes, I heard him say that in the Daily Bacon interview... But it didn't seem like it could never happen (He said that he hoped he would be able to do more of it), so we just have to be patient and hope for the best.

I posted this interview (
http://www.etonline.com/awards/emmys/12 ... index.html) on the Awake section, but he mentioned:
I played a soldier in Palestine in 1947, a good old boy in Georgia and am about to head off to play a Scottish detective.
Can it mean...?

Ooh ooh ooh now I'm excited.
Although Jackson Brodie isn't technically Scottish but Yorkshire. But, y'know, if you live in Scotland ... that, err, sort of makes you Scottish, err ... doesn't it?
(Don't tell Alex Salmond I said that.)

Are there????
My BF lives in Edinburgh and she hasn't mentioned it. I'll find out if she knows anything about filming ... unfortunately, she's not that bothered though. If they're filming after the next four weeks I could possibly go up ...

... just to see her, of course.
