Crime Thriller Awards 2013

Post by thunder » Thu Oct 24, 2013 11:00 am

Just saw this tweet from Amanda Abbington:
https://twitter.com/CHIMPSINSOCKS/statu ... 6496974848
Off to the Crime Thriller Awards with Mr Issacs. Brodie and Munroe together again. For a bit at least...
I haven't been able to find out about any nominations for CH yet. (But the night is young...)
the Crime Thriller Awards will take place on the 24th October 2013 and will be aired at the end of October.

Edit: I think this is "the nominees" list. And Jason Is nominated for best actor:
The Best Actor Dagger
o Damien Lewis for Homeland
o David Tennant for Broadchurch
o Idris Elba for Luther
o Jason Isaacs for Case Histories
o Paddy Considine for The Suspicions of Mr Whicher: The Murder in Angel Lane

Bad news... David Tennant won, and BBC won't order a third series (according to Amanda Abbington).

But at least here's a picture.

Gah. I wonder what that means for all of us who are waiting for Amazon US to send us our DVDs. Durrr...

Well, as long as Kate Atkins keeps writing Brodie books, we'll always have him. Hear that, Kate, get to writing! *squints at Kate Atkinson*

Crime Thriller Awards

Apparently Jason presented the Best Film "Dagger" at this ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last night - piece from the BBC website here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-24669144. It doesn't mention him and although nominated as Best Actor for Case Histories, he didn't win that - boo! :bang

The event will be shown on ITV3 at 9pm (GMT) on Sunday 27 October.

Well, if he had to lose to someone, I'm glad it's DT in Broadchurch; that was an excellent drama.

Thanks for the links and pics. :D

I believe voting is still an option to get BBC to make a series 3, since they haven't ordered it (yet?), so the possibility remains, however slim. And I heard CH2 was finally shown...in Germany (good for THEM). I continue to receive my Amazon notifications that it is delayed in shipping (to the US-boy am I happy I got the region 2!), I don't know if it will ever be shown here :rave . ~ e
