TV Ratings/Numbers

This is a TV series about a police officer after a fatal car crash killed either his son or his wife. He lives in two realities. One where his son survived the accident, and one where his wife survived. He doesn't know which is the real one, and he doesn't want to know. It aired on NBC, and was cancelled after one season.

Overnights:

NBC Awake 0.9/2 2.65

"With an original of The Office as its lead-in, the season finale of Up All Night was up three tenths vs. last week to a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. That didn't help Awake any though, it was steady at its series lows with another 0.9 adults 18-49 rating (just half that of the Person Of Interest repeat airing opposite of it)."

"Awake fell to a new series/season low 0.8 adults 18-49 rating, vs. last week's 0.9 18-49 rating."

On the upside, it gained almost 100K viewers. Guess nudity is an attraction.

NBC Awake 0.8/2 2.741

...so "what I hear you saying is" that every week from now on a live feed has to follow Jason around and he has to strip to his boxers and make a public service announcement about Awake, or do handsprings, or kiss a maiden in distress, or run along a foot path, and THAT will increase viewership. THATS what will keep Awake on the air? Does it have to be exclusively Jason, or can the entire cast be in on it as well? This is just so inappropriately sad. ln

Depressing! I keep hoping for an upswing. So many tweeters watch the show on line or DVR. A lot of them are still catching up.

Let's hope the ratings will be better in the UK tonight. Wonder how it did in OZ?
