I'm thinking that the play he's talking about on Bwy that he was asked if he wanted to replace an actor for 2 months, that could be Alan Rickman, whose currently starring in Seminar, for a limited engagement.

Helen8, I'm not so sure about Seminar, they announced Jeff Goldblum was going to take that part about 6-8 week ago, and Jason gave the interview yesterday (although the offer could have come in last year), but I think Seminar is playing for longer than that...who knows? Don't blame him for not wanting to step in as a 2nd actor though, or to skip 2 months of the girl''s lives. Smart cookie...ln

I saved this for this afternoon. That really was a great interview. He's been doing so much promotion for Awake that it's good hearing him expand a little and talk about other things. I also liked the interviewer; she seemed to know what she was talking about talk about (ok, she got Laura's name wrong, but I'll forgive that) and didn't gush too much.

(The gushing on entertainment shows drives me crazy. I especially hate when one person says "We love you/your/show/your movie/whatever..." as if the co-hosts share one brain. And they don't play favourites; they love everyone equally. I am more discerning )
