First Thursday without Awake

This is a TV series about a police officer after a fatal car crash killed either his son or his wife. He lives in two realities. One where his son survived the accident, and one where his wife survived. He doesn't know which is the real one, and he doesn't want to know. It aired on NBC, and was cancelled after one season.

Not much on TV these days that appeals--this is one less night I have any interest whatsoever. :-|

We had chocolate chip ice cream the night it ended. When it comes out on DVD (if it is available), I'm getting Java Chocolate Chunk.

When it comes out on DVD (if it is available)
If it ever comes out on DVD, I'll be the first to buy...

If it comes out on DVD/Blu Ray I will buy it too, but I didn't take a chance on missing it. I made sure to buy all the episodes in iTunes.

I transferred all of them from the TiVo to my PC, hacked off all the commercials and stored them in a portable hard drive. They are all HD, as good as Blu-ray, except you still see the peacock stamp on every frame plus occasional NBC promos.
I'll probably still buy the DVD too. amazon UK already has it up for 'remind me when it is released'.

I was totally missing "Awake!!" :-( I have completely stopped watching NBC, not a biggy I know but none the less my cable will get more of my attention.

Sadly I couldn't record any of the programs so I am also on that "remind me list' too. I miss seeing him so much....a deep loss!!

I think I purchased all of them in HD from itunes except one episode because that week was a little tighter around the belt. I'll have to go back and pick that one up in the HD version. Thankfully we don't get commercials with those. I'll have to watch them again to see if we get the NBC logo still. I didn't notice before whether it was there or not.

Thursday nites felt strange without Awake....felt kind of lost..... :-( . The concept is brilliant and there were so many avenues the storyline could have gone if given a chance.

I'm with you there, Cadie. At least when you know a show will be "back in the Fall", you can say oh only a couple months and it will be back. When a show gets canceled it just kind of makes you go blah.

Wonder if there is any chance Awake will be packaged/sold as DVD?
