This is a TV series about a police officer after a fatal car crash killed either his son or his wife. He lives in two realities. One where his son survived the accident, and one where his wife survived. He doesn't know which is the real one, and he doesn't want to know. It aired on NBC, and was cancelled after one season.

Awake has been sold to Russian, to be remade in Russian, I guess.

Awake, the police procedural-meets-fantasy drama, is being remade by Star Media in Russia for Channel One. The show has been picked up for an initial 12-part run with Evgeniy Mironov cast in the lead role.
How about an English revival with the same cast? I liked this show.

Gosh. What's wrong with just broadcasting the original show? Jason is well known internationally and would draw viewers. I understand that there are differences among all the countries and how to depict their own lawlessness, but why reinvent an already great-working wheel?
Not too much of a Jason Fan, am I?

All the TV and movie industries seem to do is recycle old movies and shows. Why should the Russians be any different?
